We recently had the privilege of interviewing Nicole (@compassacres). Nicole lives in upstate New York, where she and her family embarked on a healing journey at Compassacres. Originally a weathered barn, Compassacres has become an inspiring place where meditation, weddings, and garden creations intertwine, providing Nicole with a space to find peace.
Nature Gives Life New Vitality
Five years ago, the passing of her mother made Nicole acutely aware of the brevity of life and the many opportunities people miss. She channeled her grief into strength, transforming the barn into a venue for weddings and meditations, and turning gardening and DIY into a silent dialogue with her mother.
The garden became her sanctuary—a place where she could feel the warmth of family memories, the rhythm of modern life, and experience the healing power of nature. Nicole's passion and imagination have also spread through social media, allowing many viewers to discover the beauty of nature and the garden through her lens.
The "Sound" of Home Reopens in a New Way
When renovating a 1970s house, Nicole made a bold yet gentle decision: to integrate elements passed down from her ancestors into a modern lifestyle. Thus, old water feature items from her grandparents' family were transformed into part of her modern garden. She believes that a truly warm home isn't about creating something entirely new, but about allowing memories to continue flowing in new ways. And the sound of flowing water is the gentlest background noise in the home.
When Nicole Meets Poposoap: A Collaboration of Mutual Inspiration

Nicole first encountered Poposoap after we proactively contacted her. She was planning to build a real garden pond next year, and Poposoap's 8W fountain kit naturally became the first piece of the puzzle for her "ideal water feature of the future."
Nicole valued not just the single function of the fountain kit, but three things we consistently adhered to:
- Solar energy, born for nature: She wanted any garden feature to be as eco-friendly as possible, following the rhythm of natural light, rather than relying on excessive energy.
- Offering a variety of water patterns to satisfy unique aesthetics: Our different nozzles and water patterns provide DIY creators with more room for expression.
- Stable and durable, suitable for families with children: As a mother, Nicole places particular emphasis on authenticity and durability—children can participate, and the equipment is robust and operates reliably.
These needs align perfectly with Poposoap's product philosophy: simple, environmentally friendly, durable, accessible to everyone, and suitable for every family that loves life.
Flowing Water Brings New Life and Healing to the Garden

After Nicole completed the fountain installation, she experienced more than just a visual change. She said, "The garden suddenly had a new rhythm." The flowing water made the corner of the garden more vibrant, attracting bumblebees to drink, and making it easier for her to immerse herself in reading outdoors. Even during the dormant season, she could still hear the sound of the fountain flowing, which was her most unexpected surprise. For her ASMR and content creation, this is also a natural form of sound therapy.
The sound of flowing water becomes the most natural background noise in her articles, inspiring her fans to continuously collect, share, and imitate her DIY projects. As she says, "Water makes people tick."
Creating a Shared Family Memory
What touches us most are the family stories she shares. She builds fountains with her children, letting them observe the water levels, clean the stones, and adjust their positions. They run, laugh, and learn in the garden, building natural family memories. And we're delighted that Poposoap products can play a role in this.

Nicole showcases a new lifestyle:
- Healing oneself through DIY
- Remembering and connecting with family in the garden
- Letting children grow freely in nature
- Creating a more beautiful home sustainably
- And influencing more people with her creations
What Poposoap wants to do is be a silent supporter behind creators and families like hers.
