Will the pump get clogged by debris or leaves in my pond?

If the bodies of water in your area freeze over in the winter, we strongly recommend that you remove the floating pond fountains from the water before the frost sets in, clean it, let it dry, and store it indoors. The pressure caused by freezing can damage the float, the pump, or the light fixture
