Will the solar pump run at night?
It depends. Standard solar pumps stop when the sun sets. However, our Battery Backup models(like the 6.5W/8W Birdbath pumps) store energy during the day to keep running for 4-6 hours at night.
Can I use the pump in saltwater?
No. Poposoap pumps are designed and tested for freshwater applications only(ponds, birdbaths). Saltwater can corrode the internal components.
Does it have dry-run protection?
Yes! Most of our pumps feature a smart sensor that automatically shuts off the motor if the water level gets too low, preventing it from burning out.
Is it safe for fish ponds?
Absolutely. Our pumps are oil-free and safe for aquatic life. We recommend using ourFilter Kitsto keep the water clean and healthy for your koi or goldfish.
What should I do in winter?
If you live in a freezing climate, please remove the pump from the water, clean it, and store it indoors. Freezing water can expand and crack the pump housing.
Why isn't my pump working?
Please check: 1. Is the panel in direct sun(no shadows)? 2. Is the cable cap screwed tightly? 3. Have you cleaned the impeller? 80% of issues are due to a clogged rotor.
How do I clean the pump?
It's easy: 1. Unplug the pump. 2. Pull off the front cover. 3. Remove the filter sponge and the magnetic rotor. 4. Rinse everything with water. Do this once a week for best performance.
How long is the warranty?
We provide a 1-Year Warrantyfor all products. If you have any issues (non-artificial damage), contact us with your order number for a replacement.
How long does shipping take?
