10W 120GPH Solar Water Fountain Pump

One of my black hoses cracked the entire length when I tried to disconnect it from the pump. This is when I was setting it up for the first time. Extremely frustrating and disappointing! The kit does not have enough black extension hoses to replace the broken one and I’m unable to use the hose to adjust the amount of water flowing through the nozzles. It doesn’t matter how I adjust the nozzle to give it the “apple or volcano” affect, it’s never as full as the pictures show. I was so excited when I ordered this kit, but it did not work as the information on the website said. Disappointed with kit.

Love this. I have some large pots and in the past was able to grow lotus in them, despite living in the desert, so I like the idea of having a fountain. This set is nice, with multiple tops, and a really big solar panel. Unfortunately this is my widest pot, yet the head you see in the picture is the only one I can use, because the others spray so far up that the pot is emptied fully within an hour. There is a pressure/power control, but I can’t see any difference between low and high. This is why I took off 1 ⭐️. Also from looking at the listing pics, and my unit, the handle to control power/pressure is wide at one end and narrow at the other. Fine, but on amazon it looks like the end that you’re supposed to turn from high to low, is the narrow end, but on my unit the WIDE end of that handle is up where the high to low marker is, and the narrow end is the other end. I suspect that if it wasn’t put together wrong, then at some point someone spun the handle all the way around (obviously not paying attention) and broke this element. It still has a right/left stopping point, so I can’t see how, and I think it was just assembled wrong. Regardless, no matter which way I spin it, it stays the same pressure. This rounded/ball fountain head is the one which works best on my 18-24 inch wide pot. It also works consistently when the sun is on the panel - slows down or stops when sun goes behind a cloud, and does NOT build up a charge/power to run on it’s own when the light dims. I thought these types of panels were supposed to have a battery being charged as the panel is in the sun, but with this one the second there’s no sun (even waving my hand in front of it) there’s also no flow. I found that odd. Let the panel stay out all day attached to nothing, just to see if it would build up a reserve, but it didn’t.
